At Honeydell Estate Agents Ltd we believe that you have the right to enjoy your home without issues like these, so we work with our landlords to ensure that every property is properly maintained and any problems are dealt with promptly.
Guidance for tenants
The rental process can be daunting, Honeydell Estate Agents Ltd will guide you through the process from start to finish. Being members of Propertymark ARLA we can offer you peace of mind that our properties are safe, compliant and well maintained.
Once you have found your new home the next step is for you to start the referencing process, all references are carried out by a third party professional. These are recommended checks that confirm your personal details, employment status and affordability. Once referencing has been completed we will agree the ‘move in date’ with you and the landlord and all the necessary legal documents will be sent to you via email for you to read and e-sign.
For properties in England, the Tenant Fees Act 2019 requires all lettings agents to provide details of any permitted payments of which you will see out lined below.
Permitted Payments
Interest at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England base rate, for late payments of rent (which is more than 14 days overdue)
